About Tania and BoLeRio.com
Introduction
My name is Tania, and I was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I graduated in tourism and administration from Ibero-Americana College in Sao Paulo. Since 1982, I have been immersed in the tourism industry, initially in Brazil and later in Rio de Janeiro since 2003 when I relocated with my family.
Purpose of BoLeRio.com
BoLeRio.com aims to fill a crucial gap in providing accurate and comprehensive information for English and Hebrew-speaking tourists visiting Rio de Janeiro. The name "BoLeRio" translates to "Come To Rio" in Hebrew, symbolizing our invitation to explore this vibrant city.
Insights on Tourism in Rio
- Did you know that 65% of tourists in Rio are Brazilians, predominantly from the South-East region? Despite this, many Brazilians do not speak English or another foreign language, highlighting a need for accessible information.
- My journey to create BoLeRio.com stemmed from noticing the lack of detailed websites catering to English and Hebrew speakers. RIOTUR, the City of Rio Tourism Authority's site, offers valuable data but often overlooks lesser-known yet worthwhile locations.
Exploring Rio Beyond the Icons
While iconic landmarks like Corcovado and Sugar-Loaf attract all visitors, I believe in showcasing lesser-known spots that offer insights into Rio's diverse culture and lifestyles.
Personal Experience and Services
BoLeRio.com not only provides factual information but also integrates my personal experiences and insights into Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, I offer personalized services such as private tours and apartment rentals, particularly in Copacabana, providing an authentic local experience at competitive prices.
